Spook-A-Thon final tally!

Congratulations Stars! $5,500.00 was raised today for our Spook-A-Thon! We are only $500.00 shy of reaching our goal of $6,000.00. If we reach this amount we will have a school wide Winter Play Day. Hot chocolate included.

Please send in all remaining pledge forms by Friday. We will accept them for two more days to see if we can reach our ultimate goal.

A reminder all funds collected go back to the students. We are looking to purchase new sports jerseys, items for our Sacred Space and tech toys for our Learning Commons.

Wishing all our Families a safe Halloween!

Principal

Spook-a-thon and Bake Sale coming soon!

Sir Edgar Bauer school council fundraisers are just around the corner and we need your help to make these fundraisers a success. Proceeds directly benefit your children! This year, teachers and SEB staff have identified needs for technology-based toys (spheros, coding tools, maybe even a 3D printer!), a new set of sports jerseys, and furnishings for our new sacred space, along with ongoing initiatives such as guest speakers, student agendas, family education/entertainment nights, retreat buses, and much more.

Spook-a-thon – Wednesday, October 31

Our annual Spook-a-thon Halloween-themed dance is just over a week away! Donations can be made by cheque, cash, or using school cash online. Students are eager to earn themselves rewards, such as extra recesses, popcorn/movie parties, and if we reach our $6000 goal, a winter play day with treats and hot chocolate! Finger lights are available at the dance for a suggested donation of $1, and parents are welcome to come in during the dance and see how much fun their kids are having.

Bake Sale – Thursday, November 8, 3 pm – 9 pm (during parent/teacher interviews)

If you can bake some nut-free sweet treats for our bake sale, please drop them off at the school office before 3 pm on Thursday, November 8. Please see the bake sale flyer for more details, or contact Darlene at goldenrulecommunications@gmail.com

Thanks for your ongoing support of all our projects and initiatives at the school!
