Reminder: Grad Photos & Siblings Portraits Tomorrow

To remember your time here at SEB – an exceptional photographer from LifeTouch Canada, will be on site in our gym to capture some beautiful photos of our siblings and graduating students.

Graduating Students:
Boys to wear a white shirt and tie, if they do not have a white shirt and tie, LifeTouch will provide for photos.
Girls to wear white shirt with collar or V-neck top. LifeTouch will provide white shirt for photos.

Reminder: SEB is Accepting Clean and Dry Outer 4L Milk Bags

Milk Bag Team is accepting Clean and Dry Outer 4L Milk Bags to be woven into mats for sleeping, weather protection, carpets in 3rd World Refugee camps.

Rather than throw these bags away, or set into recycling bins, consider ‘up-cycling’ them!

Each classroom will have a collection bin, please ensure that these outer bags are washed & dried.

Registration for September 2019 will be held:
Sir Edgar Bauer Catholic Elementary School
Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 12 to 6:30 pm
Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 9 am to 12 pm
(Please contact the school’s office at 519-884-8480 to book your 15 minute visit.)

The mother, father or legal guardian of the child being registered for Year 1 (JK) or Year 2 (SK) is asked to be present at the above noted place and time. The following will be required: a birth certificate or other legal proof of your child’s age, a Catholic Baptismal Certificate of either parent or child, and your child’s immunization records. The child who is being registered is welcome to visit the school at the time of registration. If you are a non-Catholic, but wish to explore a Catholic education for your child(ren), please review the WCDSB Admissions to Catholic Elementary Schools policy;

Online Registration Opens on January 14th:

The Immunization of School Pupils Act, 1982 states that the Region of Waterloo Public Health must have a record of your child’s immunization in order to attend school in Ontario. School Immunization reporting will now occur online. If you choose not to list immunizations for your child, you must contact the Region of Waterloo Public Health at 519-575-4400 x. 5003 for exemption information.

Parents are encouraged to arrange a visit to a family physician for a hearing and vision screening prior to the child’s entry to school.

Children with special needs (e.g., speech and language, vision, hearing, intellectual) should register in the school in their home area.
