School Climate Survey: Parent Feedback

SEB Families,

Today our students are celebrating ‘Pink Shirt Day’ and discussing in class how to increase the peace and continuously demonstrate Kindness. It is wonderful to see the show of support.

A reminder that all teachers in grades 4-8 are administering the Middle Development Inventory (MDI) in the next couple of weeks. This data will provide school staff with student voice around many topics.

Previously distributed was a letter that explains this survey completely.

WCDSB MDI Notice of Collection (2022) – Parent Notice (updated) (2)

Through this process, all families of SEB are also invited to complete a parent survey, providing school staff your viewpoints on aspects of SEB life. This link will take you to our specific survey for Sir Edgar Bauer. Thank you for considering completing this and sharing your insight. We value our parent partners greatly.

Need for Mittens and Gloves:

Often, we support students by providing extra winter wear. Currently we are very low on our supply of gloves and mittens. If families would like to donate used items, please send with your children or drop off to the office. We appreciate any extras you may have. Thank you.

Daily Screening:

Our staff continue to look for verification from all families that you have screened your child using our COVID screener: We kindly ask that this be done before your child arrives at school. This allows our teachers to focus on instructional time. Thank you for your continued partnership.
