These will be sent home with your child(ren) today. Teachers are also communicating when your Parent/Student/Teacher 10-minute conference will be. Please reach out to the classroom teacher if information is not received.
Increase the Peace Week:
Our SEB school culture is a year round focus for all staff and students. This week, in particular, we draw special attention to our inclusive, positive, and kind school community. Daily events focusing on awareness are being held in the classrooms.
Snow Fun and Cold Temperatures:
Our SEB Stars are enjoying their time so far with our new delivery of Canadian snow. Please ensure your child is dressed for the weather. Board policy dictates that we stay inside if temperatures are colder than -27 degrees Celsius. We will also shorten recess time if between -20 and -27 degrees Celsius. Extra mittens for young ones are always helpful. A reminder that indoor shoes are also needed for phys-ed activities. Our snow reminders are captured in the link below.
We ask our families to pay attention to the media for cancellations due to weather. Please note, when buses are now cancelled it does not necessarily means schools will be closed. The decision to close schools is now a separate decision. If schools are closed due to inclement weather, there will NOT be any synchronous learning.
