Welcome Back SEB Shrove Tuesday Pancake Breakfast!

SEB Shrove Tuesday Pancake Breakfast

On Tuesday February 21st, to celebrate Shrove Tuesday, we are asking SEB students to leave their breakfast at home.

The Sir Edgar Bauer Catholic School Advisory Council (CSAC) are treating the students, faculty and staff of SEB to a pancake breakfast on Shrove Tuesday. Pancakes and syrup will be served after morning announcements and kids will eat breakfast together in their classrooms. Juice will no longer be provided.

Due to the large number of students participating in the pancake breakfast, we are not able to accommodate food allergies, such as eggs, gluten and/or dairy. If your child has a food allergy or any other dietary restriction, we ask that you please send a breakfast snack with them to school. This will allow all kids to join in the celebration!

Parent Volunteers Needed

It takes a lot of hands to mix, cook, and distribute over 1000 pancakes for our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Breakfast, and the CSAC is looking for additional parent volunteers to assist.

If you can join us for the morning of February 21st please call or text Cheryl at (519) 591-3150.

A Farewell from Mrs. Mooney…

SEB Star Families,

I simply wanted to take a quick moment to express my personal gratitude to all our amazing families. I have greatly appreciated getting to know many of you and building wonderful connections. I value your support and the advocacy you provide your children every day.

Your notes and emails do not go unnoticed. I visited the classes today to say farewell to our amazing students. I shared the following Dr. Seuss quote with them…

I let them know I will continue to smile and reflect fondly on my SEB Star time. The memories I have from the past four and a half years will carry me through for quite some time. I will certainly miss our incredible students. Remain well Stars!
